I move in about 2 months ago, and so far everything has been good. I agree with the last person that the surrounding complexes aren't the greatest, but the Highlands is much better. There have also been problems with the gate sometimes which was common at the last gated apartments I lived in. I don't hear much noise from my neighbors (granted I live on the second floor), and the complex seems to be pretty peaceful overall.
My one major complaint is that I get a lot of other people's mail in my box and am not always notified if I have a package delivered in the office. I asked the office staff about this problem and I guess they don't really have anything to do with the mail service. They suggested I speak with the post office, which I did but the problem continues.
The office staff has been pretty helpful. The ammenities are nice and they take care of my dog for free when I'm out of town. Overall I would recomemend this complex. The apartments are great and the management seems to be pretty good.
