Very disappointed, looking forward to moving out

This is definitely not the best place I have lived. I know I've written a lot but it's worth the read if you're thinking about moving in.
The staff is arrogant and don't seem like your complaints or requests are a priority. I have a horrible draft from my bedroom window which makes my bedroom FREEZING cold every night. (I sleep in sweats under a down comforter with the heater on and am still freezing!) I complained to the office about it and the maintenance guy who was there was very rude saying that my window must not be closed properly. I said I was sure it was and their only response was that they couldn't do anything about it then because they're not allowed to use weather stripping because it is "too hard to get off." So in other words, you can freeze all winter and have high heating bills because they don't want to be inconvenienced or put in that extra effort.
I also requested that they either come after I get home from work (which is not late at all) or let me know when they will be coming since I have a dog who is not crated when I m gone. They said they don t take time requests and get to it when they can. I figured I was being nice asking that since I doubt my dog will be okay with a stranger entering my apartment when I m not home but they didn t seem to care although I know if something were to happen to the maintenance people I would be in a lot of trouble. Is it really that hard to give a one day notice'''
As for amenities I feel very let down. I got a flier advertising 50 ways you ll experience paradise at the Lakes at Lionsgate but I ve been nothing but disappointed. There aren t any resident social events or services like they advertise and the only one they did have in the 5 months I ve lived here gave the wrong date on the flier so when I went over the clubhouse was closed.
They changed their package acceptance policy because they were getting too many packages over the holidays so they no longer accept anything that has to be signed for. The wonderful lake they advertise is completely disgusting.
Yes there is a business center but every time I ve gone to use it the machines aren t working or it s been closed. I was also given the wrong code to get into the clubhouse when I moved in and the staff acted like it was my fault when I went to get the correct code. Not to mention I wasn t given anything on how to use the security alarm when I moved in so I accidentally set it off. I called and they said they were sending someone over but no one came so I had to run over to the office and practically drag someone over. It took over 20 minutes before I had someone here to turn it off!!!
The spacious bedroom is not spacious at all, at least not in the one bedroom. It is the smallest out of all the apartments I ve lived in. My furniture barely fits and I even have a dresser in the closet. There also isn t much storage in the bathroom.
If you have a pet I don t think this is the place for you. They say they are pet friendly but so far they don t seem to be the slightest bit friendly. Pets aren t allowed in the clubhouse even though they have a bowl of treats on the floor. (I even heard the staff asking why it was there.) They don t have any potty stations around the complex to make it easy to pick up after your pet. I also got a complaint because my dog barks when someone comes to the door and they pride themselves on having a quiet community. If you expect to never hear them, don t allow pets.
I was told you never hear your neighbors but I can hear mine all the time, especially in the bathroom.
Overall it seems like everything they tell you to get you to move in is a lie. I moved here mainly because it s 5 minutes from where I work but honestly, I would rather live somewhere else and drive farther. I ve already been looking forward to my lease being up and I m not even half way through it.
