We had a really awful experience with this apartment complex. The year that we went there went smoothly, but they completely ripped us off after we left! They charged us 600 dollars for carpet that had nothing wrong with it and made us pay the charge for the year before instead of the carpet that was really replaced! The office staff was rude and angry any time they had to talk to me, even though I tried to be as pleasant as I could. I would never recommend this apartment complex! Save yourself a lot of stress and money!!!!!

Serioulsy doubt you got charged for carpet that had nothing wrong with it...you're just mad because you have have to pay for your damages. If there was truly nothing wrong then why didn't you take them to small claims court and prove your case?

Because we didn't want to go to court for $600 dollars. Everyone we know said that we were too nice and should have taken them to court. It's not that we had to replace the carpet, it's that we had to pay for carpet from the year before and not what was actually replaced (which was less!). Also, we were frustrated because the staff was so rude.
