Worst Apartment Experience

I have lived in many apartments - small and big - pet/no pet, diverse neighbors - but The Preserve at Overland Park KS is the worst apartment experience so far.
I love pets and am an animal lover but this apartment makes me feel that it is a neighborhood for dogs where people live as pets. There are all sizes of dogs sometimes 2-3 per apartment barking round the clock. It is impossible to focus to study or work or even watch TV.
Noisy neighbors only make the above problem worse. They say 'apartment living' is 'community living' I wish people realize that we are living in a community and we need to be considerate about our neighbors. One cannot run up and down and slam doors and leave barking dogs at 2 a.m. Some amount of noise is understandable, when friends drop in or weekends, but all the time'
It is frustrating that talking to 'management' is falling on deaf ears. They do not address any of these issues.
In this economy it is not worth spending hundreds of dollars to come home to a place where there is no peace. I would rather live in a studio.

I had an awful experience here also! DO NOT MOVE HERE! the girls who work in the office are idiots! they are stuck up and NEVER got my rent price correct (my roommate and I always turned in two separate checks and they couldn't add them together correctly). If it wasn't a threatening notice of us "not paying our full rent" every month, it'd have to be the ants, which they did nothing about, that were covered in my bathroom and kitchen WHEN i moved in, then about halfway through my lease. Maybe it was the GREEN POOL WATER that I couldn't have my child swim in! I could go on and on! Then, I heard there was a male flasher that masturbated in some poor girl's window, sounds like a good place to live HUH?
