I am used to having staff at four-star hotels take care of me and that's how I feel at The Preserve

I LOVE everything about this place! I'm a self-employed professional and I moved here after years of living in houses and neighborhoods. As I was driving by one day, I saw The Preserve and thought, "this looks like a place I'd like to live," because it was so green and wooded. It is SO quiet and peaceful here. I walk around my complex and all I hear are the birds chirping -- no traffic, no neighbors, no music. The grounds are kept meticulously, and everything is lush, green and clean. They have put a lot of attention into having lots of green spaces and privacy for most everyone who lives here. MUCH more attention than other complexes -- believe me, I checked out the competition. All the tenants I have met are nice, friendly and respectful. This is an extremely dog-friendly community and people often walk their dogs along the paths in the complex, but it is always nice and clean and people keep their pets on leashes. I never hear dogs barking. I don't hear any music or sounds of any kind at night, which is amazing for any apartment complex. I often go outside, sit in the grass and look up at the stars in absolute silence. I do hear my upstairs neighbors banging things around from time to time, but I chose not to live in an upstairs unit, so that's the trade-off. If I lived up above someone, they would hear me unintentionally stomping around.
As far as the staff is concerned, EVERYONE has been wonderful. I am used to having staff at four and five-star hotels take care of me, and that is exactly how I feel here at The Preserve. --------------------------------------------------------------- are the best.
And maintenance staff' ---------------------- are wonderful. EVERY time I have made a request, they show up right away, take care of the problem, and are wonderful about it. They even showed up yesterday to remove a hornet's nest from my my doorstep and then came back immediately when I told them that a hornet had gotten inside. And -----, the head maintenance man, even offered to come in -- on his day off -- just to help me out! I asked yesterday if I could have some shrubs planted around my unit because all I had was mulch, and what do I wake up to this morning' ----- and his --- planting shrubs outside my window! I feel VERY taken care of here.
As far as people who have written negative reviews, I would suggest spending more time really knowing what kind of complex you want and then make sure you select an apartment complex and location that works for you. I need a lot of privacy and quiet because I work from home, so I made sure to get an end unit that backs up to the woods. I know that facing a parking lot or being in a center apartment is not going to make me happy. Spend some time around the complex you think you want to live in. Drive by it at night and listen for noise. While you are driving through, ask people who are walking around or driving out what it's like to live there. They will give you an honest answer. Every single per--- I talk to here absolutely loves it. As I said, I am extremely picky -- as a consultant I get paid to tell companies what they are doing wrong -- but The Preserve is perfect for me because it gives me what I need -- quiet, peace, low density, privacy, lush green spaces, pet friendly, respectful neighbors and responsive management -- all at an amazingly low price. What more could you want' Thank you to everyone at The Preserve and Fogelman for doing such a great job.

Wow if this doesn't sound like a staff member posted it I don't know what does. I'm guessing if you really do live at the Preserve you must live on the "good" end of the property.

Okay, seriously, I'm cynical, but come on, I was just outside talking to my NEIGHBOR the other day (who does Not work here), after she had written this. We were both hanging out with our dogs on the back lawn leading up to the woods, talking about how great and sunny and outdoorsy, and quiet it was, and How much we loved
The Preserve!
I came here from a Really Bad apartment and situation over at Fountain View in KC MO. I checked all these ratings and looked the place over several times, and it won out by far.
So - honest recounting of my experience so far: Julie in the main office was awesome. Made my whole experience from first appointment to after signing pleasant. The first month, i had a Couple of probs with callbacks from the office, and therefore some of my maint. requests were slow, but that maintenance guy has since been let go.
Any problems I've had have been resolved. Bug guy came second week for some silverfish, and they have not returned. -- just stopped by the other day to replace our air filters - which yes, should be standard and i appreciated, but most apartments have Never done that on their own. Slow draining sink, fixed same day. Wasp nests on side of building, ---- was out immediately and even made sure I came out with him to make sure he hadn't missed any that I had seen. Very courteous. Very professional.
My apartment is gorgeous and spaceous. I have tons of light, my own brand new washer and dryer in unit, all working and up to date appliances, fantastic closets, huge second guest bathroom, and for Very rea---able rent.
I do hear dogs barking sometimes, but not in the middle of the night, and I've also watched notices be posted to one whose dog was a problem, and she was then kind enough to come around to all her neighbors and explain what she was doing about it, which she did, and that dog no longer yips.
Also, i haven't experienced a noise problem. Maybe because of the area I live, or my unit, but I'm home all day doing graduate work, and it is Never a problem getting peace and quiet and my nice wooded view here.
They seem to genuinely want to keep the place up, much more than expensive places I've lived. The other day a whole crew was out here just patching up crumbling places on curbs and driveways. And i don't even know that it had been a complaint.
So Go Preserve! I'd say check it out, I totally think it was worth the long search I made before I made a decision.

The staff members get on here and post reviews like this one, they are so easy to spot,Its funny how they include all of the staff members names in some cheezy made up story.

Yes because anyone that has dealt with ------------- knows very well they that are not friendly and could care less what you have to say. The friendly people here have nothing to do with the staff and trust me spend some time at the pool and you will get a good idea of just what kind of people live here *thumbs down*
