They also did the same thing to me! I moved out of there in June 2008 and asked about my deposit refund which they said I should be receiving after walkthrough was done. I called a couple of days after moving to my new place to see when I would receive my deposit and they told me I would be receiving only a couple of hundred dollars back and not my full deposit and that I would receive the detailed list for the repair costs along with my check. 3 weeks later I called again and left messages to let them know I had not received my deposit by mail yet and never got a call back. I am moving to a new apartmengt again and when this new place did a verification for rent the preserve told them I owed them $271.00. I stopped by the preserve office right away in person for an explanation and they prited out a paper that stated "not returned keys, a late fee and pet damage" when I wanted to know the specifics about this damage I was told that they no longer had my file as it was a year old and couldnt tell me anything else but it may have been due carpet damage. They said that they "tried" mailing me the the list of costs, but did not have my correct address. When I asked why they didnt call me to discuss this, I was told they "dont call people"''. I DID return the Keys and Never paid Late and there was no damage! Now I have to pay this to be approved for the new apartment. When I asked to speak with the manager I was told that he was busy. Seems like I will have to go ahead and pay for this for now so I can be approved to move in to my new place, but definetely plan to contact HUD Housing and submit my complaint. It seems like they have done the same to alot of other people. I will should have a case number by next week and will put it up on this site so other's can use it as reference to submit complaints on these scumbags!

I hate the Preserve and after viewing this site can see that they treat everyone here the same. I would NEVER recommend anyone to live here. We are moving out in Oct. and are soo glad to be done with this place.
