It seems so funny to me that all these reviews are so poor yet the last 2 posted are good... Could it be the staff trying to cover their @$$' I wouldn't put it past them. If the truth be known, I love my apartment but hate the staff (excluding one...Libby...She's great.) They're always rude and non helpful and often times ignore you while you're in the office. I had a friend come by to look at apartments and left because the ladies in the office were snooty to her. I don't assume running an apartment complex is easy but I do think it takes a little common sense. In the 4 years I've been here, to my knowledge only one original staff member remains. Could this be the previous were not doing their job' From unanswred messages left, emergency maintenance calls on weekends unanswered, no one in the office seems to know who told who what or why something hasnt been done. I've left very detailed messages and come to find out weeks later no one recieved the message. I would not recommend three lakes based purely on the staff. I knowwe have a new maintenance guy in charge but my experience has been less than pleased. The work order process for this complex does not work. You think by reading these reviews, someone might figure that out.

Or could it be that happy people don't generally go looking for complaint-based websites? HEY RENTERS!!!! As a former member of the staff, I can tell you the renewal rate is about 85%! Looks to me like plenty of people are happy! Not to mention that I haven't been there for over a year, and I'm still great friends with several of the residents from my time! Granted, not a single complaint was posted while I worked there, but I don't think angry, cynical, sarcastic little me would be the glue holding the residents' happiness together. I did my job well. I quit for a better opportunity. Isn't that how it works? Whine and complain all you want. I know you just want someone to read your clever little quips, but to tell you the truth, your wit is sorely lacking. Don't quit your day job - the review world wouldn't take you.

Just wanted you to know. I didn't quit my day job, but I did move. =) And just so you know,I actually used this website to select my next apartment and have recommended it to several friends. I think we all seem to be be very "happy people". What's your excuse?
