Didn't have a problem...

Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2001
I used to live at Whispering Hills about a year ago. I lived there for two years and had to move due to a transfer with my company. I was a little shocked to hear that some people didn't like it there. Compared to where I live now, Whispering Hills was heaven. The indoor pool and hot tub were cool. I got a new TV when I had renewed my lease (I didn't get anything more than a rent increase at the place I am now). I got a free carport, and I liked my apartment quite a bit too. The set up of the one bedroom was great. I didn't feel like I was so cramped (which I have felt a lot in apts), which is also the main reason I took the apt. The only complaint I might have had was my inconsiderate noisy neighbor.
As far as office staff, I had interaction with quite a few of the other residents (at functions and so forth), and I never heard any of them complain. I, myself, never had issues with them. I know the pool was closed a couple of times when it was supposed to be open. They were doing some cleaning. I was disappointed because I wanted to use the pool, but I didn't mind the extra cleaning. The pool got used quite a bit by residents.
I did see them making quite a few improvements. My hallway was redecorated and looked great. I had also seen some re-siding being done at one point.
I had a pretty good experience (I think one of the people who gave a bad review was my neighbor. He was threatened with eviction because he was complained about so much).
