we moved in in july of 2005, first off we were shown a very beautiful model that has never been lived in. we decided ok this seems like a nice place to live so then we put up a deposit that we will only get half of back. a month later when time to move in we went into the office and signed a lease we were told to sign the lease before even seeing our actual apartment. we were taken over to our new apartment ( keep in mind our apartment had been vacant for a whole month before us) we walked in and the walls had just been painted that morning so everything was wet. the carpet had major stains on it. all the lights in the apartment had paint overspray on then so the apartment was pretty dark overspray on the thermostat that to this day we dont know how warm or cold it is in the apartment. we were upset because we had a uhaul in the parking lot waiting to be unloaded but the walls were wet. also they did try to clean the carpet but it didnt help and so our carpets were wet. we took the keys ralph left we stayed in a motel for 2 days waitning for our walls to dry and to air out the paint smell. when we finally moved in i noticed a hole in the wall in the bathroom next to the bottom of the shower that was rotted through. I touched it and the whole was actually a previous patch of literally tape and paint. i called the office and it took them 2 months to come fix the hole which is still not painted it is just a piece of drywall and some plaster. oh yeah we have also had a major problem with ants and spiders. we also have a problem with a thick black mold that grows around all the windows that we spary with mold bathroom mold killer and bleach but it still keeps coming back. the office does not seem to be to worried about it at all. people are allowed to have pets here which is great but you can not walk in the grass or let you little kids outside because the will step in dog crap. the pool is nice so is the jacuzzi if it is ever working. it hasnt worked in awhile but the office does not seem to want to fix that either. we were also told and it states it in the lease how many people (adults) can occupy an apartment well we live in a building that has 9 hispanic people living in one apartment and from talking to other people on the property every building is like that. so to some this all up we wish we would not have signed an 18 month lease. when it is up we will run away from this place and never look back. Our advice to you is to KEEP LOOKING. DONT LIVE HERE
