In a little more than three months I will be moving in. These reviews have scared me -------- and my rate is already locked and my deposit has already been taken care of.

Has management been changed since "big, bad ----"'
Do you really have to pay just to use the pool'
Are people exaggerating the rot/bug/heating issues'
Should I back out now even though I've already paid the deposit'

I'm a young lady, is it really an unsafe place'

DO NOT DO IT !! all the reviews you read are true i felt like i wrote ever one of them. me and my husband have lived here for a year and we cant wait to get out. the maintenance is horrable and the management is rude and unprofessional.we have had every problem that you could think of from leaks that they continue not to fix and are claiming now that we have to pay for the carpet that has been saturated 3 times because of maintenance issues that the did not fix. the apartment is hot in the summer and cold in the winter with high energy bills. it really is more like Whispering Hell so pleas reconsider and go some other place. whispering hills is not what it seems

I worked at Whispering Hills for 4 years and left 2 years ago. I was so happy to get out of there.EVERTHING you have read about all the bad stuff is TRUE. Your best bet is to get out now and DON'T believe anything maintenance or anything from whoever is in that office now.I don't know if ---- is still there, but who ever is there will not be any better. I had to stay at that place until I made enough money to move out of there and get another job. They steal from other apartments to fix things, ohhhhh I could write a book about this place and probably have a best seller. I worked there for 4 years like I said and they went throuh, my last count, way over 1OO employees. I would not be writting this but I had a friend call me that used to work there with me and he drove by and was laughing cause they had a sign out saying they had some Best Property or landscaping. What ever it is that they got should have been best SLUM Area. I don't live in Kansas anymore so I really could care less, but I did have to check out some of the reviews, Don't go there is all I can say, take this as a warning or you will be sorry and you will say, Damn, I wish I would have taken the advice from a complete stranger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know what I'm talking about, ---- is a back stabber and like I said I don't know if she works there or not and don't care. I was never so happy to drive out of Whispering Hills and never had to lay eyes on any of those people again!! Just don't let me get started on----------------. So if they read this, I'm sure they know who is writting this and will have some kind of nasty come back, but who cares. When you do read something good about this place it is the office writting it as I have sat in Lis'a office while her and---------------- would write good things about Whispering Hills, or they would have there leasing staff do it for them. Hey I used to work here part time a few years ago!! I hated it ---- was a ------- back stabbing ugly faced -----!! All the residents came in all the time complaining about how many new people keep coming and going in the office!! The office was totally unorganized -------------- is a scary she-male power hungry biotch!!

I've been living here for a year now and everything has been great. Every time I have a problem that needs to be taken care of, I call them while I'm at work and it's fixed by the time I get home. Bugs do get in a little during the spring and fall (just like everywhere else), so I call and ask for them to send over an exterminator, problem solved. Also, I'm not sure if their is an unsafe area in Overland Park.

I've lived here for a month and the day I called at lunch about bugs, there was an exterminator in there within an hour and a half. Awesome management response. It is true that the girls in the office are power hungry and have little to no personality, but everyone else in there is easy going and pretty cool to deal with. I'll have more knowledge of how ------ everyone says this place is within the next 11 months. but for the price in Johnson county, its not bad.
