my boyfriend lived at whispering hills a year ago, and it was a disaster! Not even three days after moving in, the apartment got robbed. I would normally say, wrong place, wrong time...however...maintence was in the apartment the same day to replace the microwave!...coincidence' could be. when my boyfriend called the leasing office to inform them he was robbed, ---- blammed our friends! are you f-ing kidding me'!' she said that since he had inquired about moving to a second floor apartment, and was denied the request, this was his way of getting it. Yeah, right. when we don't get our way, we have our friends rob our apartment, and take the dvd collection, a watch and leather jacket, amongst other valuables. that lady is crazy. then when we moved out, the crappy floor was sunk in, in the laminated hallway. They tried to have us pay for it! i spent hours cleaning that place. i rented a carpet cleaner when we moved in, and it took a whole day to get through the dirt embedded. i swear, it must have never been professionally cleaned. anyhow, we debated on the no return of deposit, and the additional charge for the sunken floor! it took months, but i finally convinced someone at the management office...not the leasing office...the signature property management to allow us to contact a different company at a lower price.....because it was apparrent that they didn't agree that the floor being ghetto and sunken wasn't our fault, and we can't afford lawyers(hence living at whispering hills;) ) I ended up getting an awesome company to do the floor, and at the end of it, ---- had the nerve to call and ask if she could get the number for the owner of the company who did the floors to save her money. she got the number...but then had the owner of the floor company tell her that there was absolutely no way that they would do business for someone who was as shady as ----. haha, who got the final laugh -----! and we got money back! ---- is a -----, the staff there is scarred to say anything in front of her, but say everything under the sun when she is not around... i feel bad for anyone who lives there.
