I have lived in Mission Valley for 6 months. I generally like my apartment. I like my neighbors and the grounds are clean. The pool seems to be closed a lot and I am not sure why, but it is a bit annoying. So lets talk sewage...... Yes, the basement in my building floods with sewage about 6 inches deep. It has happened twice in the months I have been there. The smell is horrible and it makes its way up to my second floor apartment. I have invested in a million plug in air fresheners to fix it. I have not complained because I see the plumbing company trucks out there all the time so obviously they are aware of the issue. I have gone from thinking I would live here for a while to not knowing if I will renew my lease due to the sewage problems.

the pools are closed alot because of vandelism. if the resident of mission valley care as much as they say they do. they would call the police. then maybe the pools would be open all the time.( at least they are not green this year) it seems like the maintenance is doing a better job trying to keep up the properties
