I do not know who received excellent service from the Boulevard recently, but this is not the norm. My husband and I lived at the Boulevard for three years. The first year was wonderful. The next year the Boulevard decided to decrease rent and began to not be as picky about whom moved into the apartment complex. Everything went completely downhill to the point I was screaming and yelling at management on a weekly basis about the problems going on in the complex. I would gain more progress screaming at a brick wall. We had raw sewage leaking through our ceiling for over 4 months. Maintence took over a month to even look at it. They then just drywalled over the spot that was leaking without fixing the problem or cleaning out the ceiling. After 4 months of continually complaining to the office and maintence, and only after voicing I would phone an outside contractor and expect reimbursement did someone come to fix the problem. It turned out to be a leak from the waste leaving toilet leaking into our kitchen ceiling. This is one of many examples I could give.

I will just say over the past two years I have seen numerous drug raids, people hauled off in handcuffs, management ignoring complaints about the drugs and loud parties until the police come down on them about it. Suspected mold in apartments. (I have not had many allergy problems since I moved -- for the full three years we lived in our townhome not once was the ventilation system cleaned). All in all I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown due to living conditions at the apartment complex before we moved. Management does not want bothered with providing a decent place to live.

If you are a drug dealer, a loud party person, believe you can destroy others property as you like and not face any problems with your apartment's management this is the place for you.

If you are a decent individual looking for a nice, quiet, safe home for your family, this is not the place for you. No matter what, I strongly encourage you go to the Roeland Police department and obtain a list of calls answered in the boulevard apartment complex over the past couple of years and monthly check the Kansas sex offenders list to see who pops up at the addressed within the Boulevard apartment complex. This should open your eyes!!
