Misleading Advertising, Poor Maintanence and Management

We've only been living here for 45 days and we already want out.

The overall quality of the units you rent is not nearly what you see in the model. All of our walls, closets, and doors are badly chipping (both paint and wood) and all have noticable patches in them from old holes and bad paint jobs. The subfloor in the bathroom has almost completedly rotted away in several areas, and the fixtures such as the tub and sink both have large, ugly chips. The kitchen counter-tops have large scratches and some discoularation on them, and the cabinets are all very poorly painted. The carpet that was installed is super cheap and the padding underneath is almost non-existant. The windows are so drafty that you can't even seal them with that window shrink-wrap you can buy at the hardware store - the breeze through the windows is so strong, it pulls the stuff off the window. The front door had a gap at the bottom large enough for you to see what shoes people are wearing when they walk by, and if I hadn't taken the time and the money to do the weather stripping myself, it would still be that way 45 days after I asked them to fix it!

Maintanece takes days or weeks to respond to any issues, and when they do, there is no notice that they're going to come in and no note left when they leave of what was done or when they might be back to finish what they started.

We've paid rent on time both times it's been due thus far, and yet both times we've gotten a notice on our door a few days later that they forgot to charge us for something and if we don't pay the extra within 7 days, we'll get hit with late fees. The first time they forgot to charge us for water, the second time we underpaied by $0.90' I paid by debit card, so it's THEIR FAULT if I wasn't charged enough.

All in all, this place is a disaster. We'll be out of here as soon as possible.
