I moved in thinking that it was a great location, only to find it a complete disaster. They violated my lease within 3 days of me signing it. It is Kansas Law that they must notify you 24 hours prior to entering the property, that should have tipped us off. When they tell you how much your rent is, they are lying. Then they charge you for the late fees and back charges even if they give you the amount in the office. The appliances that they put in them are second rate, I am extra careful and I went through 3 dishwashers. My washing machine was unusable because the pipes were frozen for half the winter. Heating and cooling were outrageous. I had to park on the opposite side of the street most of the time because they don't manage the parking at all. They don't fix leaks in the place when you report them then charge you for water damage. This is one of the worst places I have lived in the Kansas City area. Don't let them fool you with their $5 million dollar fixer-upper, cause they had to have pocketed it. I have cracks running though out the structure that use clearly did not create. Their idea of fixing holes in the wall is to stick bubble gum in it and paint it over. There is dog crap all over the grounds, you can't even walk to your car without the stench of animal waste invading your senses. Its bad when you take a shower and your kitchen cabinets are drenched in shower water. If you are looking to pay a lot for a hole in the wall, come on in!
