OK, I have lived at Carlyle on 2 occasions....once when it was Arrowhead and once when it was Carlyle. It was not bad at all.

Most people with common sense would see that being 32 years old, you are going to be able to hear neighbors.....as with any apartment really. And if you can't handle that, then rent a house and quit complaining....you never know when your neighbor is putting up with your loud behavior and just not complaining. It is usually those of you who can't go to your neighbor and nicely explain they are being too loud that do nothing but complain to others about it!

As far as the apartments go, they have upgraded a lot of units and I think they are pretty comparable to a newer property, but with cheaper rent. Very nice. Maintenance is maintenance......there will always be issues of floods, backups, and all that other crap we all hate....face it even in a house.....you can't get away from that.

Grounds upkeep is good at Carlyle.....no complaints there!

The second time I moved to Carlyle.....I moved there as one of your "dreaded employees"....however never had any complaints on my behalf. Now I do have to agree with those of you who did complain about the staff......when I got there.....IT WAS HORRIBLE.......and eventually you realize the management company stuck with what they had for some unknown reason. I had never seen a staff so unpleasant....so I do agree with you there.....excluding myself (of course we all have our bad days....:)

In Kansas City area, for the money you just can't find much in the market of carlyle that will be any better. I would live there again......even not being an employee of the company.

The maintenance is a good staff......it takes more than once to fix a problem sometimes......not all the time.

The management company is great.....their residents are their number one priority....and my theory is.....if you can't get it fixed or resolved within a reasonable amount of time....go to the management company that is based in TEXAS....they will resolve it.

As for those who choose to leave things of value in the open and complain if they are stolen.......GET REAL!!! Of course someone will steal your crap if you leave it in the open......it is 2003! On NO property can you leave anything of value in the open and it not get stolen. The majority of the time, the people who are stealing it is people who live no where near the community itself.....and everyone with brains should know that you can't moniter everyone that enters and exits a property.
