Not worth it

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005
I lived at The Greens for 2 years and, although I liked it in the beginning, was thrilled to leave. In the two years that I lived there we had 4 different managers. The inconsistency was more than annoying. I blame the management company, Lindsey Management, for the issues because they seem to either hire bad managers or get rid good managers for bad reasons. I just hope this newest set of managers lasts long enough to have a positive impact on The Greens.
I would not recommend that anyone move to The Greens because I do not think the price is worth it.
My Point Of View:
The Parking is bad. If you get home too late you might have to park two or three buildings away or even down by the golf course, if you live on the North side of the complex.
The Sprinklers are annoying and you do get wet sometimes, but it is possible to get past them and stay dry. Only one sidewalk to each apartment is on at one time, you may have to walk 10 more feet but you can stay dry.
The apartments are built a little cheaply, but they are not bad. The walls are thin and I have heard my neighbors fighting many times.
Yes, there was a time when the police made frequent visits to the complex but to my knowledge they were all for domestic disturbance purposed and most of the offending residents were gone before I moved out.
The gate is a joke. I lived there for 2 years and the gate was broken for all but a few months. It was a pain and for a little while it was closed all day and open all night.
The amenities are nice but I rarely had time to use most of them. I did, however, love having free cable.
Maintenance was not the greatest. It took them a while to get things done and the security lighting on most of the buildings was always out. (My guess is that the lack of maintenance was due to the managers and that maintenance may be better now with the new management.)
The grounds crew did drove me nuts by waking me up early in the morning with lawn mowers and such, but the grounds, for the most part, were well kept. The snow blowers, in the winter, scared me more than a few times and they sometimes went overboard with the salt and sand but it was worth it not having to step in snow on the way to my car.
The apartments are really small for the price and I do not recommend The Greens at all!
