I like the layout of the apartments, convenient location and the rent is reasonable. Three things made me break my lease:

1) I couldn't get a decent shower for two consecutive days the whole 4 months I lived there. At first, it would flash SCALDING HOT water at random times. Then I complained and it started flashing HOT then ICE COLD water during my shower. I finally concluded that the ONE hotwater heater in the basement was overloaded when more than one resident showered at a time. However, I would shower at different times during the day and it still happened.

2)My neighbors. The people to the right of me fought all the time. The nasty guy down the hall liked to sit in his boxers and undershirt on the stairs to the 2nd floor(located 3 feet from my front door) and smoke his cigarettes. Not only did this make me feel unsafe and creeped out, but his stinking smoke came into my apartment. I complained in writing(as required by staff) and they "lost" it. So I resent my complaint....Nothing happened. The same as my shower, go figure.

3)------ construction. A leak appeared in my kitchen ceiling...I complained...FOUR weeks later, a guy shows up to fix it. Why after FOUR weeks' Because the guy below me had gotten his complaint into the office before me! The repair guy wasn't even aware that I had complained! Also, not only did the creepy guy's smoke get into my apartment through the non-existent seals on my front door...but the guy downstairs decided to BBQ in the rain and I smelled the smoke from that for days! Needless to say, I complained about this too and got nowhere.

Looks cute, but was very frustrating. Also, a friend of mine used to live in the townhouses and she said she loved the complex but the placement of the townhouses on low ground meant that they flooded every year. AND, don't expect the huge piles of leaves in the fall to be cleared out quickly. Took them weeks to do this too and in the meantime I slipped twice on wet leaves. *shrug*
