Hello my name is Ryan and i live at fox run, when i came to fox run i had a pregnant girlfriend and we were looking for a one bedroom apartment. they steered us to a two bedroom saying that we dont qualify for a one bedroom. Fair housing Amendments act of 1988 says under Familia status that one or more individuals (not 18 years of age) living with a parent or guardian; pregnant women are also protected from being treated differently than a woman who is not pregnant. MAYBE SOMEBODY SHOULD CONTACT HUD ABOUT THIS. MAYBE IT'LL BE ME. And if you want to get a place at fox run you may want to save up cause you may spend $2000 just to get in the door and stay there. AND FOR GOD SAKES DONT BE LATE ON A PAYMENT>

Fair Housing Occupancy standards measure more than just number of people per bedroom. Your growing family may or may not have been protected, but you'd have to take into account the size of the bedrooms, and the overall size of the apartment. If the one bedroom apartment was over 1000 sq feet with an enormous bedroom, sure... they should have let you rent a one bedroom. When families with children are involved, Fair Housing has more to do with the overall size of the apartment than with the number of people per bedroom. And YES, for God's sake, don't be late on a payment. That goes without saying. No matter where you live, you've gotta pay rent on time. Sheesh.

uh no.. For one Fair housing states that apartment managers are not event alowed to ask how many people are going to live in the apartment and for two pregnant women are not to be discriminated. If God forbide that something would happent to the baby these people would be stuck be stuck in an overpriced two bedroom apartment that they didnt even want. And the bedrooms are very large and most parents keep a new born in thier room anyways. My husband works for the micelson co. which owns many apartment complexes and he know exactly what he is talking about. It seems to me that this place is trying to overstep some of Kansas fair housing laws
