As if it hasn't been said enough already, we have lived here since 2003 and it has been nonstop problems. We should have gotten out when we had the chance, but kept staying. We now know this is our last year, and we are almost willing to pay their HUGE fine to break the lease.

First off, expect the problems. Expect to have maintenance very often. We have leaks at least once every few months. We have had two major leaks that have required them to tear out our carpet and run large fans on the bare floor all hours of the day for multiple days at a time. Try to hold a thought or anything with that constantly running. We have had many leaks in our kitchen as well as our bathroom. Expect everything on your countertops to get soaked from the nasty water and need to be thrown out.

Expect pilot lights to never work. Even with the windows closed, we have to light our stove almost all the time. You can smell the gas when you walk in the apartment. Also, our furnace pilot light goes out regularly.

Expect noise! Everything going on in the step area outside of your aparment can be heard as if they are talking in your room. If you have noisy neighbors above you, telling the office will do nothing for you except give you the exercise there. And then after a full year of the noise, maybe you will be lucky enough that they finally move out. You will hear everything going on above you.

The office is rude. You can usually tell that from first glance at the person named -----. Their pool tables in their rec room are horrible. And if you are playing foosball, be sure not to make noise if they are talking to somebody about moving in, or ----- might come out there to tell you to be quiet.

Again, just DON'T MOVE HERE!!!! We are looking for any way out of here right now.

I got out after a year... because they wouldn't let me out of the lease. All the water is a perfect breeding ground for "black mold". I know because I had it tested. They won't acknowlege that it's there because they would be liable. I have noticed a dramatic difference in the way I feel since I got out. Oh.. and the CO2 levels are much lower in my new apartment too.
