I have been a resident since July of 2007 and I love my apartment. I have a 2 bedroom 1 bath, and we moved in at $640 a month. When we renewed, it went up to $660 but we renewed for 18 months so we got $500 off one month's rent. That's an awesome price for johnson county, if you ask me. My apartment is spacious, the layout is great, and the rent as I mentioned before is affordable. I like the location because it's only 10 min away from where I work, and it's also close to several restaurants and grocery stores, and I-35 and I-435 are in close proximity as well. I've never had issues with maintenance. Any time we've needed something done, they come over in a day or two. Staff has always been friendly. The parking situation is okay, I wish there were more spaces because if I have friends/family over, they have to park in a side parking lot because there aren't many spaces right in front of our complex. But no one has ever had to park in another building's parking spots or anything like that. They do have covered parking that you have to pay a little extra for, but if more residents got that, it would free up the spaces right in front of the building. I don't hear my neighbors upstairs often, but obviously if you have an apartment and the people upstairs have kids or whatever, you might have problems. But that's in any apartment pretty much.

I'm picky when it comes to apartment living, but I can definitely say that I am pleased and satisfied with living at The Meadows. They have great move-in specials and the price is just right for residing in Johnson County.
