There is frequently trash lying around the complex. Managment acts surprised and claims they did not know because they "do not walk the premesis." Well, maybe they should. Maintenance drives their vehicles around on the grass and sidewalks in between buildings, so you can look forward to muddy tire tracks everywhere. Siding that has fallen off/been blown off of buildings seems to remain permanently off (at least for 9 months and counting) -- you can clearly see the tacky label from the insulation underneath.
It took more than a week for them to fix a broken fire alarm -- ILLEGAL.
They simply post orders for maintenance on a bulletin board, and the workers are supposed to get their assignments from there. I can't tell you how many work orders I've requested that have mysteriously disappeared off of the bulletin board without the work ever getting done.
One last thing -- the lease says you must present a photo ID to pick up packages if Fed-Ex leaves them at the office for you. HAH! I came in looking for my package and was pointed toward a table overflowing with packages. I finally unearthed mine, relieved that no one had stolen it.
Management is neglectful and sloppy and maintenance is lazy. This is no high-end apartment complex. You're paying for the amenities (garage, washer/dryer) -- NOT the service.

I disagree, its a great place to live and maintenance gets completed very fast. Who cares if they drive their suv's on the grass, they maintain the grounds and how else are they supposed to carry around heavy items. Sounds like you were whiny and snooping around in the office to me.

I am aware of the siding issues, we are in the process of getting the final bids to have all the siding replaced. Siding can not be replaced during the weather we have been having. As soon as the weather gets warm enough we will be starting the replacement of the siding. My maintenance staff is very competant and take very good care of the property and apartments. They do a daily trash pick up throughout the property. I do know that sometimes some trash may be missed and we take care of it as soon as possible. I personally walk and drive the property at least once a week. We have had a harsher then normal winter with lots of snow, wind, and ice, it has been more difficult to keep the grounds looking as good as we would have liked to this winter.
If you request a work order to be completed in your apartment or in a Pinegate Common area and it is not completed within 48 hours please call the Pinegate Office so we can take care of the issue for you. Management keeps a carbon copy of every work order called in and posted on the board. This way we can keep track of all requests. As hard as we try not to miss anything sometimes mistakes are made.
If I know who you are I do not require you show me a photo id to pick up your package. If you are someone that I do not know then I will require you to show a photo id. Accepting packages is a courtesy service we preform for our residents. If you do not want us to accept packages for you in the office, please notify us and also whoever would be delivering your packages. Which would be the Post Office, UPS, Fed Ex, etc.
We do take very good care of our grounds. We have a professional company which takes care of the grounds weekly. Please remember it is winter the grounds are not going to look as good as they do during the spring and summer months.
The only reason a member of my maintenance staff would have driven up to the building would have been if they had to replace a heavy appliance,in an apartment for one of our residents, that could not be carried by hand.
If you notice any ground issues or any other issues that have been missed please contact the Pinegate Office so I can personally make sure the issue or concern get quickly and properly taken care of.

I have lived on this property for almost 5 years, what I can say is that I see the staff working VERY hard everyday to keep both pools, workout center,hot tub, steam spa, dry spa and all 222 tennats apartments in proper working order and do it in a very timely and professional manner, and I personnal know the managers are personnable and always friendly. I know the person who posted the slanderous comments above because she complains to anyone who will listen to her. I and my other neighbors agree she is not a very nice person and has shown her premeditated attemps to misslead the truth and cast a negative light on this property because someone did not come RIGHT NOW to CHECK the battery in her smoke detector because she THINKS it was bad. Even though it had been replaced 3 weeks earlier with furnace filter changes she got upset because she expected to be taken care of RIGHT NOW. As her neighbor I really do wish she would move so it would be nice to take a walk without her stalking me just to complain. I have never had a problem here and love it and will be here until I can not live alone anymore. And as for my neighbor "SHAME ON YOU" you are not very nice.

stay away it's a dump and getting worse.
they will change the rules on you without notice.
better places to rent, don't fall for the pinegate shills, they are put up to the postings.
