I was somewhat in a pinch when I was looking for an apartment. I was a college student who needed a place to live semi-close to campus and quick because I only had a week to move everything during break. I chose Pinegate originally because of its white picket fence appearance, the washer-dryer in unit, and the garage. The leasing agent was friendly, and she worked with me to get me into the lease even though I was under 21.

The time came to go on a tour. We walked up to an apartment that I assumed was a model (My sister worked for a apartment complex company for years and it was never accustomed to showing real lived in units, always models) however this looked like someone's real apartment, dog included. So I felt rather disinclined to poke around in all the cabinets, closets, and bathroom. This "model" however was clean, had good painted walls, good venal counter tops, and modern appliances. I also peaked in the bathroom, and there was a full sized vanity in addition to shower and toilet. I was pretty excited, this was going to be perfect.

Deposit down and everything were going to move in. The apartment they put me in was dirty, very old and yellowed appliances, no microwave, and a bathroom half the size of the one I was shown. Ok whatever.

A few weeks into the lease, they instal a micro wave for me. Dryer does not dry. Call, they half-ass fixed it. Few weeks later, the garage door stops working and I have to close it by hand. It took them 2 weeks to get it 100% fixed. Now, my electrical is not working properly, and I can not use my microwave with out the braker flipping and turning all my electricity off. Also, the closet light fixture broke and they insisted for over a month that it was just a bulb when I changed it 3 times to see myself.

There is no where for guests to park. The garage is shared and not clean. The apartments smell musty, the pool is always dirty, they don't even open both the pools that they have, the roads around the property have huge pot holes in them. Storage in the apartment is a huge problem. I had no where for all my toiletries, linens, or dry food and had to buy my own cabinets.

I could keep going on, but I don't want this to be too long. In all honesty, don't move in here. There are much nicer apartments for the same price with everything these have.

sounds like the truth , stay AWAY from this place, just drive on by.
