Was good to me

We had a pretty good experience here, though some of the bad can be related to. The laundry rooms are pretty nasty and ours leaked from the pipes a few times and would smell up the building horribly. But after I brought it to the attention of the management, they were there that same day and fixed the leak, never occurred again. Still a musty cobweb laundry room, but I care more about my actual apartment so I dealt with it. Our apartment was a great price for a very large size. It's definitely older apartments, but I always seem to notice older places are larger so you deal with age to get a great size. The kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom were the largest I've ever had in an apartment. Carpet is nasty with stains, but I just placed furniture in those areas. Had alot of spiders, but that probably comes with all the woods and they did spray for us.

Greatest things that made it stand out to me: when viewing the apartment the patio was falling apart with rotting boards and the management said they would fix it come spring since winter was approaching. I didnt really think it would happen and that it was just said to convince me to move in. But as soon as spring arrived, I did not even say anything and one day workers arrived and rebuilt it all in a matter of hours and it was a great job. Also, we ended up having to move unexpectedly out of state before the end of my lease. Debbie, the manager, actually worked with me to get somebody else into my apartment so that I would not have to pay any fee for breaking the lease. She showed my apartment immediately to interested renters and got it sold and I was out of the lease for free. Any manager could easily make me break the lease and pay without caring but she took the time to help me save the money. That made all the difference to me! She also worked with me on the price when I first was viewing to help it work for me. She was always very nice to me and pleasant to visit with in the office when I'd stop by and talk.

The view of the woods, if you have it, is nice and private. The grounds are very quiet and tucked away, but still fast access to I-35. Pool was kept clean and I never felt unsafe.

We really liked it there and Debbie was very good to us. And we did even recommend it to friends.
