Have lived in the complex for many years, and it was very nice when I first got there now it has really gone down hill. rent has gone up and quality has gone down. will not be there another year. When Sally was in charge was a great place. Carrie has run it into the ground, not a safe place to live, bad landscaping upkeep, large dangerous dead branches dangeling, black mold in the basement laundry rooms. Peterson Property groundskeeps in the back of the complex parking lot doing drugs (pot), complaints were never addressed.

I wouldn't call it horrible, but it certainly has gone downhill just this year. I still love my apartment, but not enough to stick around this community. I will be leaving when my lease is up.

Well the lease is it and I am moving, will be glad to be leaving behind: 1. pot smoking Peterson Properties grounds staff in the back parking lot. 2. leaking foundation in the master bedroom. 3. BLACK MOLD in the laundry room. 4. Managers with bad attitudes and unprofessional comments about other residents. 5. front of the complex well groomed, back of the complex not so well kept and the landslide of dirt onto my patio. 6. dead branches (large) hanging from trees about to fall on people. 7. Constant calls to police to deal with anonymous vehicles parked in the back parking lot with inadequate safety lighting doing drugs and having sex, leaving behind all sorts of trash. 8. sliding glass doors with up to a 1/4" gap letting the cold in during the winter and the A/C out during the summer. 9. bird poop in my apartment falling on the mantel in my apartment. 10. several break-ins over the last few weeks and at the sister complex of King's Cove it was the maintence personel with access to the key machine doing the breaking and entering All of this has been mentioned over the last 4 years to managers but nothing was ever done. Would never refer anyone to live at Thousand Oaks, When sally was incharge of the properties it was a very outstanding place to live, Now that Carrie is in charge there is a constat turn over in Asst. managers. and the grounds look horrible and the place is looking like a wreck.
