Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004
My husband and I lived there for two years (only because we were tricked into another lease). I have never had so many problems with maintenance, drug activity, theives and the laundry facility. Here are just some of the things we experienced while living there:
1. Our heater broke in the middle of January, it took them SEVEN days to look at it, while the temperature was 6 below zero, and when it was "fixed", it made a loud banging sound. (This was the last straw for us- we had to break our lease)
2. Someone PUKED in the washing machine one night after apparantly having a party in the basement. They had freaking GRILL in the basement - which was still smoking the next day when I went to do laundry.
3. Our "storage" in the basement was: broken into, TWICE, and flooded several times, ruining several of our belongings. When it was broken into - our bikes were stolen, our foozeball table was stolen and several boxes of clothes were stolen.
4. Several times when we came home - we noticed that the sliding glass door was left open...the tv was on...cups we had not used were left in the sink.....
5. Our mailbox was broken into.
6. Our cars were vandalized several times, including our stereo being stolen and our cds.
7. We were pretty much robbed of everything that was on our patio, several times.
8. Our next door neighbor was a registered sex offender (charged with sexual battery and forced sodomy).
9. Several times we saw people HAVING SEX in the PUBLIC POOL.
10. There was mold growing in the hallways.
11. Twice we had to have our locks replaces on the door because they mysteriously were damaged...
12. There was a homeless person living next to the dumpsters.
So, my advice, STAY AWAY. Unless you are a registered sex offender, and then this is definately a great place to live. And no, I have never been employed there, I never had any "friends" in the management office. So I am not just "bashing" for the hell of it. I am just warning future residents what they are in for if they choose to live there.
