I've been a resident here since July of 2008. So far, I've been pretty happy. The apartment has a cool layout and a very nice woodburning fireplace that we use a TON. Every unit has its own washer/dryer which is AWESOME! The large porch is nice, as well as the close proximety to the woods and walking trails. We see deer all the time. I also like how the complex is tucked back in a residential area instead of being right of some major street.
The insulation between the first and second floors isn't great. We hear our neighbors and their dogs walking around all the time, as well as their pipes squeaking. Also, I would recommend keeping an eye on the spiders. We've had a huge problem with poisonous brown recluses. The management has tried their very best to rid us of them- they've fumigated the place and sent three exterminators- but it hasn't done much good.
The management here is AMAZING. Britney is awesome. You put in a maintenance request, and the fix it either the same day or the next day. They are very friendly and know everyone by name.
