I've lived here at Nieman for several years now and am now planning on moving as soon as my lease is up. Take it from me, any nice review written about them was probably written by the office staff themself. I loved my apartment when I first moved in. Having a washer and dryer was great and the location was convenient to my job (another bonus.)

The new company who has taken over is HORRIBLE. Everything has gone down hill. The young girls in the office are rude and snotty (learn a little customer service, the Resident's are the one's paying your paycheck, without us their is no Nieman Square!) When I call in a maintenance order it takes forever to get done. That's even if it gets done right. Sometimes it takes several trips to finally repair it properly. My neighbors fight constantly and all you here are people going up and down the stairs at all hours of the night. Several apartments have been broken into and I see the Shawnee Police paltrol through here all the time. No one cleans up after their dogs. Everytime I walk to my mail box there is dog poop everywhere. They have finally started to clean up the grounds more. There used to be trash everywhere. I have to throw down my own snow melt in the winter because they never get around to shoveling the snow and ice from the sidewalks. When I call or go to the office to talk to the manager he is too busy and the yound girls are more concerned with other things than helping their residents. You can repaint the outside of the apartment buildings, but that doesn't clean up the trash inside and out of the office!
