Nieman Square

 

I lived at Nieman Square for 2 years.

Yes, its all peachy when you move in and live there.

The problems occur when you try to move out! I understand trying to keep a tenant at all costs, but I have to say the management went a little crazy.

For starters, I looked at a 2 bedroom at Nieman and at another complex before I decided to move.

I was already a tenant at Nieman, so I figured I would stay there.

After seeing the filth in the model I was shown, I was disgusted.

Dead bugs, rotting balconies, and outdated fixtures.

I looked at another complex and was honest with Nieman that I was considering another complex.

They proceeded to bad mouth the other complex and then try to BRIBE me to stay with them! They called me numerous times a day over a holiday weekend to ask if I was going to stay.

I was offered free carports, decreased rent, pet rent waivers, anything to stay.

When I decided to leave anyways, I gave the 60 day notice, and I was then told that I had to let them know on the 1st of the month not on the 2nd even though my notice fulfilled the 60 day agreement.

I went to speak to them about this, and they got very snotty about it and verbally assaulted my now wife.

Nothing but attitude after they were kissing my butt to stay.

I enjoyed my time there, but the move out experience was absolutely terrible.

Nothing I would wish on anyone.

By the way--I had heard from 2 previous neighbors when they moved out that the mgmt gave them nothing but grief, but I experienced it for myself as well.

I would never have moved in had I known how it would end.

I was a model tenant--rent on time, no noise complaints, rarely ever home due to work and school.

They gave themselves a bad name, and I have shared my experience with many people.
