pros: no neighbors above or below you. high vaulted ceilings. garage. decent size rooms. washer and dryer. maintanance people seem prompt and are good about clearing the snow.

cons: bathroom teeny tiny. kitchen really small with not much countertop space. i wish the kitchen were a seperate room rather than just a corner of the livingroom. not really any dining area at all. mailboxes at leasing office, not in your building. the garages have no walls seperating them so it's one open area with all the cars. so you can't store things in your own locked garage like you would expect. there is a chapel and a large room they rent out and sometimes all of the parking spots will be taken depending on the size of the event there. not long ago, all the spots were taken for a whole weekend.

problems: my apartment has a silverfish infestation but haven't seen any other insects yet. the garage doors below my apartment are really loud when they open and close, and often wake me up from sleep. my refridgerator made banging and rattling sounds so i reported it and they replaced it with a different one that also made banging and rattling sounds. my air conditioner unit is placed on the wood balcony and when it's running it vibrates the livingroom floor. there's often a lot of noise in the back garage areas outside and the sound goes right through the windows, like they're not even there.

i moved here because i work nights and have to sleep during the day so i thought having nobody above or below me would be a good arrangement. but there is lots of noise during the day that keeps me awake and at night i still can't watch tv at a decent volume without getting a noise complaint.
