As a shawnee resident, FYI, the grilling ordinance is the CITY not the apartment complexes. The city of shawnee does NOT allow grilling and can and will fine you.

They allow grilling, but you have to be a certain distance from the apartments. You cannot grill on your balcony like so many of the tenants in my building do.
