Please!.....all of you writing bad comments about the staff at Prairie Lakes need to try and find another place to live. The staff at Prairie Lakes is deadicated to insuring that the residents at the property are satified with the maintainance and the overall performance of the staff. Hello!!!!! The staff has a job to do and it is done to the best of their ability! It is not the management's fault that people do not follow the rules or that policies are enforced. I am fed up with negative comments from people who think they deserve to walk all over the people that try so hard to get them moved in and qualified as quick as possible. The staff at Prairie Lakes continues to go out of their way to show residents that they in fact do care! If it is so bad at this property then why is the property full' Why is there a 3 month wait list to get into a 2 bedroom apartment' Why are all the "unhappy" people still living at this "horrible" place' All of you that do not want to be adults and obey rules need to take ownership for your mistakes and quit placing blame on poor management. Thank you...

I agree with your overall message. However, I can't agree that everything at the facility is A . Not only have I had people above me for almost a year, who stomp, blast music, and all else, but any call I have made to the office never gets returned. That irks me. I put up with it/still live there because my lease isn't up. Not everyone has a perfect experience, and I relize nowhere/nobody is perfect, but it is my belief that they would try and correct the situation, if someone is unhappy.

Um....mooching off the government???? I don't believe that PLA is section 8...last time I checked. Just because the rent is slightly lower than other places in Johnson County, does not mean that people are mooching off the government. Where did you get that crazy little idea?? That's just odd that you would say that. And by the way - $718 a month for a two bedroom apartment...no quite so competitive with other apartment complexes anymore. Back in 2005 when rent was $600 a month...maybe...but even then, that's not because the "government" is paying the rent for people. What an odd thing to say. And Ryanlvsjazz- are you sure you didn't live in my apartment? The woman who lived above me with her 5 year old sounded like a herd of elephants stampeding through town. And all her drunk friends knocking on my door at 3 a.m.....that was a "blast". Maybe they should get jobs. Or quit mooching off the government. Weird.

I can agree with some of the message however i think a few points should be considered. It is in fact the responsibilty of management to make sure that the tenants follow the rules and obey the policies. Thats why they are instuted and thats what an eviction is for. Also just because someone works very hard at a job does not mean they are good at it. You will find that throughout life many people have jobs that they may try real hard at but overall should not be doing. Like the last president. It sounds like the author of this post is either an employee of the property management, involved romantically with someone employeed there or wants to be. And also may be a moron. X) smiles and winks i may be your new neighbor
