This place may seem cheap but don't let that fool you. Your car will be towed if you let it sit for more than 3 days. Also they tow if you have a flat tire, expired tags or anything else they want to complain about. DON'T LIVE HERE. when i first moved in there was lots of dead roaches in the kitchen cabinets, along with live ones as well. i called the management that first night to tell them that i couldn't put my dishes up for there was roaches all over the cabinet's and counter's. They came over about one to two days later and just dumped the bugs out and swept up the rest with a broom and dustpan. They then told us that they would be by later to spray so i can put my dishes away. FIVE days later they came and sprayed EVERYTHING (the bed, our stuff, the cabinets, everywhere.)as they were spraying they threatened to turn us in for having to much clutter, we were unpacking!!!! duh! that's just the beginning, later they changed management and things just went down hill from there. The pool which open mid season was only clean for the first couple of days then it looked like a swamp, with sand dirt grass roaches and poop yes someone ---- in the pool. YUCK. This place also seems to pile immigrants in like rats we had about 8 people living above us in a one bedroom! I could go on and on about how horrible this place is. just take my advice DON'T LIVE HERE NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!!!NOT WORTH THE PRICE !!!!!!!!!!!!someone should report this to someone for i am about too.

I was so so glad to move out of there. I moved out October 5th and have loved life since!!! I lived there for a year and a half and it was awful. I had a problem with one of my neighbors and when I went to go talk to the Lenexa Police about the problem the POLICE officer said that Quivira Place should be torn down. I had so many problems with all the new management, new management would take over for about a month and leave. The property had 7 different Management groups since I lived there. My A/C went out and I just got tired of calling maintenance to come and LOOK at it so when I moved out it was still broken. My new place at a different apartment complex wasn't going to be ready till the 10th of the month I went in and asked if I could stay till then and they told me that they could not prorate the rent that I would have to shell out $500.00 for TEN days. I was like that's a rip off. So instead my husband and I had to RENT a storage unit and RENT a hotel room for those ten days, when I went to go talk to management on the 1st The manager that told me I couldn't stay there without paying full rent for the ten days told me that I could stay there till the 5th and she would prorate it. Keep in mind my husband and I were already paying for a storage unit and a hotel, neither of which were cheap. I was PISSED why the hell didn???t they tell us in THE FIRST PLACE. The place was a mess when I moved in the whole place was gross; I had to clean and clean before I brought any of my stuff in. I am so glad to be gone and my new place is just amazing and I feel so safe in my new neighborhood. Speaking of which they let anyone and everyone living here no matter what. I swear they probably have felons living there. My neighbor was a creepy stalker guy no JOKE. I would come home at 10pm and he would be waiting there for me and ask me where I was and who I was with like he was my boyfriend or something. I swear every time I opened my front door he would be there or step outside to ???smoke???. It was insane that I wouldn???t even go home, or at least not go by myself. He would knock on my door all the time, I never answered because I was pregnant and at the time it was just me. So watch your back at this apartment complex.

just to let people know that do live in this horrible place. If you need any work done call the lenexa city hall and ask for the building code inspector. They will come out and inspect the building then give them a fine or something then they come out and fix things but that's the only way around here. Also you can ask for the department of community standards and they may be able to help you out as well. the phone # for lenexa city hall is (913)477-7500. Also this place allows a lot of foreigners to live here hardly anyone speaks English this place needs to be reported to immigration.
