The Retreat's a decent enough place, but not exactly anywhere I'd really suggest to my friends now that I've had a years worth of experience here. I had no bugs in my apartment, but then again, I clean up after myself. I take that back, last summer I had a cricket in my room once. The blinds are cheap, the appliances old, but both worked well enough. My biggest complaint about this place is that it has the thinnest walls I've ever seen any place ever have. I'm constantly aware of what all of my neighbors are doing. The walls are thin enough to overhear conversations. In addition, I've spoken to other residents who've lived here for a long time, and they report multiple break-ins. The management is sugar-sweet up until you sign a lease, but that's not really anything amazing, most places are like that in my experience. The location's good, and the apartments are servicable, but not really that great all in all.

It's really funny when you go in and talk to the leasing agents, cause they always have this straight expression. Like they're bored with there jobs. "Uh, huh. Okay... yeah... right. Okay, well, I'll fill this form out here..."
