This place is a nightmare.

My husband (then fiance) moved into here in December 06, and I came in June of 07. We were hesitant to sign up from the beginning. The management's files are strewn everywhere- no filing system that we could tell. But the woman who we were working with was new, so we gave her the benefit of the doubt.

Numerous times our bill has been sent to us the day before its due. My husband became accustomed to calling them early in the month to find out what our bill would be so it would be on time. Even taking that precaution wasn't helpful because they've told us the wrong amount!

The paint on the baseboards is nasty. The paint job in general is horrible. The only thing nice about the looks of the apartments is the freshly cleaned carpet (which still has stains that won't come out). The closets are minuscule. The bathroom is gross. The people upstairs must have flooded their bath, cause now we have leaky spots on our ceiling- its been almost 2 weeks since we reported it and maintenance still hasn't showed. The lighting is bad- so stock up on lamps! When we moved in, the place that they showed us was a pristine show room with hardly any flaws. And then they give us the real thing.

It's just been disappointment after disappointment. Not to mention the community is shady. We can hear every argument our neighbors are having (especially those ones at 3 in the morning). When my parents were in town, we all kept watch on a car that had an infant left in it for about 30 minutes- then a couple drove up, the woman got out of the car, grabbed the baby from the other car, and left. We don't feel safe at all here. We're getting out of here as soon as our lease it up!

Yeah, it's amazing how bad the paint job is. I mean, the doors could've been left unfinished and even THAT would look better than what they do now. I too have not gotten consistant billing. I was told they use a billing company and the current manager says that she's really frustrated with them and wishes they could dump them. However, that's no excuse for not being able to get the correct billing amount. I've been told I've had credits for paying by check and then getting a notice that I'm short that amount. Very frustrating! Yeah, the clean carpet was good, but you are right, I have paint all over mine.
