Lived here 6 months. My microwave quit and it took them 51 days from the day I filed my work report to get it fixed. Two weeks after I filed the report, they sent someone who confirmed that it needed to be replaced. (No compensation was given for the 51-day inconvenience). When I moved in, the room stunk and it took a week of Febreze to get the smell out and all counter tops needed scrubbing. When I left, it was FAR cleaner than when I moved in, and they kept my deposit anyway (after delaying sending me my final account statement for 6 weeks and 6 days). If you make the mistake of moving here, get them to show you the room you will be moving in to, NOT their show rooms that are right beside the main office. On the weekends, police lights are a common sight, as are loud, uncontrolled parties in the parking lot with booming Hispanic music. Walking out to see kids throwing a football in the parking lot is common (and the inevitable oops throws into the cars). Never used their gym, as I was only in there one time, and the smell was too bad to stay for longer than a couple minutes. When you call the office, unless you are speaking to Rose or Ashley, hang up, as everyone else in the office is incompetent and will tell you what you want to hear, rather than the truth. If your only other option is a cardboard box, move here Otherwise, look elsewhere!

Yeah, when I moved in, I made the same mistake of not asking to see the actual apartment I'd be getting. If I did, I wouldn't have moved here. I'm surprised my appliances haven't exploded yet, they're so old! If they do, I'll make sure to keep on their back about them. I don't think Ashley is here anymore, there's a new Assistant Manager who's black and is very friendly. When he found out I wasn't getting my bill he pulled me into the office and fixed the problem right then. They put in the wrong address. So now I get my bill. lol

You know, I had same experiences like you. They kept my deposit, and Amber who pretend as a manager told me that she already send the deposit to me. Funny though, I never give her my new address and all my mails delievered to the post office. THIS PLACE IS A HELL.

I seriously doubt that they would let you see the actual apartment you're moving into. Because I'm pretty sure I asked and the girl who was giving me the tour was kind of ditzy and kept dodging my request.
