We have lived here for a 11 months, trying to save money and not break the lease. This last year has been hell living here. When we moved in, the place was never cleaned, and the carpet was filthy. Every month there was a new problem, starting off with the shower, then the fridge, then a leak from 3rd floor (we live on the first), then the thermostat, and finally the water heater. We made a complaint about the h2o smelling like algae a week later they came and said we need a new water heater, fine whatever. A week and a half after that we had a flood in our apartment!!! Their excuse was they did not have a key to our apartment so maintenance couldn't replace it. Where is the key'' They didn't know, as much as they knew the old maintenance guys must have it! Doesn't it make you feel safe' After the flood, they did not replace the carpet, they dried it with a fan, and replaced the pad. Well with the moisture we had black mold growing on the base boards. Hazardous!!! Come to find out our neighbors have mold too.
STAY AWAY FROM THE RETREAT it is a nightmare!!!

That's horrible! You should get your deposit and at least two months rent back for that.
