I came back from Iraq and moved in the same day in December. The moment I opened the door, there were Pink stains in the carpet EVERYWHERE!! I immediately called the complex. They told me they would take care of it. By taking care of it they hired a carpet cleaner to come out. They didn't get out any of the stains. Even the maintanance guy said that the carpet was terrible. Afterwards I told them that they didn't come out. They told me that that was the best they could do. Additionally, they said that when you move into an apartment you sometimes have to deal with things like that. They can't replace the carpet everytime someone moves out. WHAT IS THE DEPOSIT FOR!'''! I also, had a cracked bathtub. They did fix that with some putty. HUGE FIX!!! *LAUGH* Then I complained about a dog barking all day long at my neighbors. I once again complained. The lady said that when you move into an apartment with people living so close you have to deal with things like that. Only after I started to get mad about it did she say she would check to see if they had a pet deposit. WHAT DOES A PET DEPOSIT HAVE TO DO WITH THEM GOING TO TELL THE LADY TO SHUT THE DOG UP OR EVICT HER'!'!' When I moved in they told me they hardly ever had break-ins or thefts. I asked the maintanance guy about a month into living there and he said they got break ins and thefts all the time. One month before moving out I got my motorcycle stolen. There had been several other break-ins as well from others around the complex. Approx one month before the end of my lease I talked to the manager in person about when my lease was up and she told me that they send out notices one month before it is up to remind for renewal. I called them a week later still wondering when my lease was up and they said I was 6 days into the last month and that I would have to pay a prorated plan after I move out. When I told the girl on the phone that I talked to the manager about it she just told me that I misunderstood her and that they only send out reminders for renewal and not for leases being up. The area the whole time I lived there was trashy. People left sofa's and TV's laying all over the front of the buildings. This has to be the worse apt I have lived in. It is also the 4th place I have leased from. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
