I moved from Cross Creek, a sister property. Staff are clearly less grumpy here and are nice. They're still nice when I step in to pay rent--they always greet me by my first name (but I always forget theirs, dang it') and ask if there's anything else they can do for me before I step back out.

I was impressed when I moved in. Like Cross Creek, this apartment had new plush carpet that didn't feel cheap and the walls were smooth. It smelt like a newly-constructed home inside.

I have never had any problems with residents in my building. Neighbors are quiet, decent, yet mind their own business. A wide range of ages live here. I did have one complaint with one resident who lives in another building who would often drive through the parking with his car stereo very loud and would drop junk mail on the ground. That stopped, and it seemed like my complaint was handled professionally and was evidently kept anonymous.

I only had one maintenance request. No arguments. It was responded to within hours (!) and fixed properly.

There are many, MANY businesses and restaurants at 21st & Tyler that are within walking distance. It's like a mini-community. I really like it here and actually like the west side better.

OK scoobys unhelpful comment or the review itself which should I take more seriously? I look at it this way. If this review was a canned response from the Apartments why then would they talk smack about one thier other properties and one of thier own paying tennants?? Im a satisfied tennant of 3 years and dont understand the problems others mention. Maybe cuz I dont cause problems and do pay my rent ontime. I understand there was a tunover at the office but I only go there once a year to renew my lease and I think her name was Rachael who was the one who renewed me and she was quite alright. However I think its not pratical to walk to the nearby places like The Warren or Old Chicago or Teds or even Pizza Hut cuz youll get RUN OVER on your walk there but its nice theyre nearby. Yeah a pool would be nice they could put one in next to that playground but watch me not use it anyway. My bedrooms face Tyler street and the noise sometimes gets annoying and that would be my only reason to move.

Hmm.. You must of been one of my idiot neighbors. If you don't like my review then disregard it, it is my opinion. Also I still stand by my comment because no one in their right mind would recommend this apartment unless maybe you are 75 yrs old . It would be nice if they turned it into a retirement home.
