The reason we moved here was for the area of town (which is pretty decent), it was reasonably priced, and it allowed dogs. At first, we thought it was great. Staff seemed friendly. Maintenance was pretty friendly and fast, especially when we had a problem with a leak.
However, these don't outweigh the negatives. We saw many brown recluses, even after bug spraying. Heard gunshots one night that turned out to be a double homicide. Our neighbors car was vandalized. Had a neighbor who has little toddlers running around while I saw empty alcohol containers and drug remanants left all over their patio. Cars come and go late at night...either with loud booming music, or squeeling tires. Weird people walking around the parking lots, especially at night (seemed suspicious to me). I never feel totally safe here, even tho it is a decent part of town. Also, parking is horrible at night. I always had to park at the other end of the lot and walk a ways. Didn't always feel safe with that.
While the price is reasonable, they decided to jack our rent up almost $70. All in all, very dissatisfied and I cannot wait to move into another place!!!

I have live within the same zip code, three different locations on E. Harry St. Numerous break in's, child molestors, drive by shootings, perverts, drug use, stabbings, HUGE SPIDER PROBLEMS!!hard to kill them the are not from this planet!! never seen a roach though. Management can't care less for your security, very dark in some buildings, maintenance is great, prices are good, but you know the saying... Public transportation route, until 6 pm after that good luck. Just to flag a taxi is $2.75. BY THE WAY NO TORNADO SHELTER!!! WICHITA IS KNOWN FOR REAL BAD WEATHER. Rule, if it will rain, unplug everything (lost one cpu)and as soon as you hear tornado alarm head for Dillon's grocery store!! RUNNN

We def had the bug problems, even though they sprayed I swear it was just food for the spiders and the other very weird looking bugs. I swear the cochroaches and spiders mated to make a new breed. I came home one night around 2am, and there was a "parking lot" party where everyone was blasting there music. I rented a carport, and of course they were parked there, so when i asked them to kindly move, I was called every name in the book. But when you move in claremont tells u if you have a carport and someone is parked there, they will have it towed immediately. NOT TRUE! they actually have to be parked there for like 48 hours which is a city ordinance. ALl you can do is put on there car a flyer that says "your car will be towed at owners expense carport is leased, visit office if you want your own" At least someone would park in my carport 6 times a week.which is not a big deal, but since parking spaces are slim pickings you usually have to park a great walking distance from your apt.
