I should have known better than to move here but at the time there was no other choice in the matter. When we first moved in, it really wasn't that bad, excpet for the HUGE draft from the doors. At the time, there was only one other person living on our side of the building. Nice quiet lady, everything was rather peaceful. Then the neighbors moved in. Now almost every night there is a party downstairs and the smell of pot fills my apartment every night. Plus now that summer has arrived there seems to be a huge druken party in the volleyball court and pool area every single night, and it goes until all hours. I have complained to the office but alas nothing is ever done about it. Yet, if my son is a little too noisy I get a lovely little note on the door telling me that I need to control him better. I wonder if they leave the same not on the door of the woman across from me with the beligerent 10 year old who does nothing but scream and bang on peoples doors all hours of the night and day. I doubt it because it still goes on.
The bug problem here is horrible!!! I finally had to pay someone to come and spray because spiders are a HUGE issue and I am very allergic to spider bites. I did call management but nothing was done about it. Gnats are also a HUGE problem as well.
There is no security here to speak of. A couple of weeks ago someone broke into the clubhouse and stole the 70ich flat panel TV that was in there. Turns out that there was no security system in place at all even though when we moved in we were told there was. Guess it took their stuff getting stolen to make them finally get a decent patrol going at night. Still doesn't help with the parties.
We will not be renewing our lease here and instead moving to a different place that we have full checked out and have a few friends living over there that can vouch for the place.
My advice to everyone who thinks about moving here....keep looking people!!!! Its not worth it at all. It may be affordable, but it's just not worth the price.

I def. agree with everything you are saying, we had a lot of the same issues with spiders, weird bugs i've never seen before, and RATS! lots of rats! that were coming from a hole that was covered by carpet in the closet. the hole was so big cats and possums could of came through that hole, they fixed it with some seal and stapled the carpet. GREAT JOB! Didnt help! Even though we had a hole there, I talked to multiple neighbors who said they had a rat problem who lived up stairs and downstairs. Claremont said it's just a problem for downstairs tenants. NOT TRUE. about every month they would have someone come over and spray that did not even work with the apt, when we were not home, and spray. but after they left, we would see more bugs. especially brown recluses.
