A Haunting in Claremont

Nice and dependable maintenance men.

A free gift every time you renew your lease which is like an $10 iron or a hammer.

Close to Dillons, QT, and Taco Shop for all you can eat tacos.
-CONS (which Claremont is)
Rats, cockroaches, Fleas, Spiders like Brown Recluses, Wolf Spiders, and bugs that national geographic would be interested in, since they are not from this world.

Even though there were trash cans all around, they would be so full, people would just stack the trash on the outside of the can, A lot of time not even in trash bags.

So it ends up looking like a smelly land fill.

Stranger dangers that are non tenants constantly walking around the complex.
True story a guy with a butcher knife was standing outside my apt stalking my wife and daughter, one day when she had the patio door open.

Luckily I came home from work and saw him.

He took off running, Later the cops told us multiple residents reported this.

No Kitchen Space.

After each lease ends, they will up your rent from $30-$50 to the point you can't afford to live there anymore.

No tenant appreciation, lived there for 2 1/2 years, and we were never offered and incentive to stay.

That's only to reel in the new sucker for their cons.

Leased a carport, was told if anyone parks in your carport Claremont will have it towed IMMEDIATELY.

Not true.

Their solution, give you more flyers to put on the car window to not park here.

Claremont has limited parking, so the majority of the time someone would be parked in the carport that was not me or my wife.

.My car has been vandalized multiple times, Keyed, Dented, Trash and what looks like vomit all on my car.

Crazy Parties, with a bunch of teens, drunk, screaming, throwing trash on your patio.

Parties every night that will last into the early morning.

With loud music, and loud party goers who will usually hang outside your door, patio, or close to your window.

These drama filled parties usually ended with a fight breaking out & the cops being called.

Which led to a double MURDER SHOOTING in one of the buildings.

Patio and front door poorly insulated.

Always a Draft.

which results in higher electric bills.

NOT very fire safe! When we lived there I ve seen 2 apartments on fire.

including one across the hall.

and one across the walk way where I thought a bush was on fire, but it was actually coming from the cubbies they have on the side of each apartment.

Poorly lit.

Women who live there are harassed/stalked.

Not safe for kids.

Don't believe me do a search on the internet for sexual predators in the area, since there is no real security you will see perverts lurking around at all hours.

There is a peeping tom that lives in the complex, us and a few neighbors have actually caught this old guy on his hands and knees trying to look into peoples patio.

He uses his two smelly rat dogs as a ruse to peep on his neighbors.

People who live in surrounding houses actually walk their dogs through Claremont, just so they can poop on your walk way, patio and in grass.

-The Final Straw.

We paid a deposit when we moved in.

They automatically keep half of your deposit.

ok fine...but then when you move out they will keep your other half.

To where you owe them Money! I moved, and paid someone to clean my apartment for 2 days.

It was spotless, minus all the RAT poop stains left behind!.

I even took video footage of how i left the apartment and request a walk through with the management.

She said they will charge me 10.00 to clean the oven, even though we did that.

and you know they are gonna do that anyway after we move.

And that a water bill.

well here's the kicker.

from when we moved in we pay our water bill & trash bill with Claremont each month.

They claim that their billing cycle is two cycles behind.

then they charged us for water recovery and rubbish recovery, which when I asked the manager what that was, she explained it was the water & trash.

So I was charged that, then another water and trash.

so I owe them now 1.25 and if I don t pay that they will send it to collections.

The staff seem very friendly and nice but behind that smile are vultures.

They will con you & wear that fake smile.

I lived in a lot of apartment complexes, some good some bad, but these ladies take the cake.

They should be ashamed of themselves for treating their fellow man in such a manner.

Even at a complex I was not satisfied with, I at least received my deposit back.

I have never left an apartment filthy.

We are not bad tenants, we are quiet, we don t destroy anything.

We have always paid our rent on time, not once were we late.

We handled the water and trash bill 2, we have always paid that on time also, since we just added it onto our rent bill.

They treated us like we left the apartment in shambles.

We even donated over 100 DVDs to their apartment video rental, and they still act this way.

Never a thank you.

Wow, did not know that the crazy guy with the two dogs was a peeping tom, good to know now being on the bottom level. I also really notice that no one picks up after their dog's poop. You're totally right on the rent jacking and I did not know about the stalkers or the butcher knife incident. But, now we know that women that work at nearby apt. complexes were being raped, so it's not much of a stretch. Glad we're moving in august. We've been here 2 yrs. and that's 2 yrs. too long.

Agreed! There are always lurkers walking around... I do NOT feel safe there and cannot wait to move in August. Especially since I got a letter on my door saying that the only way I can keep my current rent price is to sign a year lease... I didn't even sign a year to begin with! I have only been at Claremont for 7 months and it feels like a lifetime of a nightmare. Counting down the days begins...

This guy is a liar i have had NO issues and I am a single mom with two kids.
