We lived here for two years. Each year the rent was increased much more than it was at other places. The windows are drafty, you can hear your neighbors sneeze through the wall, and many of the appliances do not work. We had been complaining about our air conditioner not working for a year, and it was finally a month before we moved out that they got to actually fixing it. There is this small, easy to miss blurb in the lease about getting the carpets cleaned. Actually, you have to use their ONE approved carpet cleaner or they charge you. They pulled out all of the shrubs last fall and still haven't replaced them. Now there is just a big mound of dirt outside our windows that are lined with these poorly put together bricks. Also, they accept section 8 housing, so quite a few of the neighbors are trashy. I had a neighbor go ballistic on me when I didn't do anything (and the apartment complex didn't even seen to care), children are unattended, my car has had the crap door dinged out of it, and I've seen neighbors having sex on their balconies or with their blinds up.
