Let me start off by saying that you cannot get Cox cable or high speed internet here. The management company has signed a deal where you must get SBC DSL and satellite service. The problem with DSL is you must pay for a home phone (something that is not required with Cox). Most people my age are 100% cell phone and have no need to pay $40-50 a month for a home phone line. But if you want high speed internet at Crown Chase you have the have one (which sucks). You also have to sign a contract for SBC DSL, Cox on the other hand is simply month-to-month with no contract.

The satellite service is ok... It goes out from time to time with bad weather, but the price is only $45 with taxes and fees and you get many more channels than Cox basic service.

There is a major problem with theft here? I have lived here for about 6 months, and during that time about 15 cars have been broken into (including my own). One car had all four of its rims/tires stolen and was left setting on blocks.

Because these are such nice apartments, they will always be a target for thieves. They really really needs to install some better lighting in several locations of the property to help prevent theft. The properly has gates, but they are always broken. I would say the gates have worked about 20 days out of the 6 months I have been here. After my car was broken into I complained to the management about the gates, but they still only work intermittently.

The residents here are pretty good. I have never had a problem with noise or parties. Most of the people here are middle class 9 to 5?ers aged between 25 and 35 years old.

The office staff acts like they care about residents, but you can tell they don?t give a crap about you. They are very snobby and have no since of urgency or respect for renter?s needs and concerns. The rent isn?t too bad here. I pay $505 for a one bedroom. If the price goes up, I would move simply because of the above listed problems.

Overall, I give them 4 out of 10 stars.
