Ok, it looks like a nice place to live. Office staff is professional, and everything seems nice. Up until you have to move out. I was charged over $900 for carpet repair, even though I was already clered by maintenace. When I inquired about this, managementsaid maintenace was not qualified to make descions! What kinda crap is that. Several of my friends have ran into this same carpet problem with managment, and have all came out on the losing end. Buyer beware.

I'm having a similar problem as this reviewer. The mgmt. called me to tell me their were 'stains' in the carpet that could not be removed and were going to charge me $800 to replace the entire carpet. Also threatened to ruin my credit if I did not pay. Even suggested that I file a claim thru my renter's insurance policy. If you've had a similar problem, please email me problems you've had w/ the management at lacrosse_apt_complaints@yahoo.com |

Well take the ruining your credit threat VERY serious...they took my folks to court for over 2200 and put a mark on their credit...so they are NOT joking they will 100 percent do it. I have broken my lease at almost every place I have ever lived and not once has any of those places put a mark on my credit or took me to court but not Lacrosse theses bastards didn't even bat an eye at screwing my parents over.

To The "Goth Girl"- did your"folks" ever think about reading the lease where it is highlighted and you initial that when you break your lease, there is a termination fee?

what, read the lease? you mean this big legal document that i'm signing might be binding? and being proud of breaking almost every lease you've had, naive enough to think that it won't catch up with you- i love these people. in the past, i've worked at a handful of apartment complexes around the wichita area and LaCrosse is absolutely a step above the rest. anyway, i'm sure miss goth has learned a valuable lesson: when you're signing a legal document such as with an apartment, look out for yourself and if you don't understand exactly what it is you're signing, bring along one of your brighter friends who might be able to put it to you in a way that you can better understand. i get the feeling that she has no idea how to check her own credit-- that should be an eye opener.
