My wife and I have been living here since June and I can't think of a single major gripe that I have about this complex. Many people have complained about the price of the complex but to be honest you aren't just paying for an apartment here; you are paying for a lifestyle and a load of amenities that, if you actually use them, save you money or equal out in the long term. For example, another apartment complex plus a YMCA membership would roughly equal out to what I am paying in rent here. The advantages of living at LaCrosse are never having to wait forever for a treadmill, swimming space, basketball goals, or weights. I would have to say if you are new to town (or single) this is a great place to meet people as well. The complex does regular outings and events as a community which my wife and I have met several people at (e.g. Blue Man Group Concert, trips to the Warren Theatre, game nights, etc). I cannot think of any other place in Wichita that we looked at that took the effort to build a community like this place has. Most of the negative reviews I have read on here are about things that I could easily see as being misinterpreted. The nosiness that has been mentioned could probably stem from the in-home deliveries for packages delivered by UPS and FedEx, more of a convenience than you having to go to their offices during business hours. There have been instances where I left my garage door up and the staff took the time to call me just to make see if I wanted them to close it in my absence. Nosy' Me thinks not. I'd have to say that everyone I have met here is courteous and has the tenant's and property's best interest at heart.

Dear James,
I am an owner of LaCrosse and you just don't know how much we appreciate your kind words. We really try hard to make this a wonderful place for people to move into, restoring each units to perfection, and treating our guests with the respect they deserve in their new home. When people destroy our units and need to pay for repairs, they get very angry and write deplorable reviews. But for 4 years in a row we have won the coveted "Best Community in Wichita built after 1996!" We are proud of our property and we thank you with all sincerity in trying to set the record straight!!!
