Horrible Staff Ruins the Whole Place -- Run the other way!

I have to say that this would be a nice place to live if it weren't for the really bitchy ladies in the main office. They are all smiles when you are signing the lease and handing over your deposit. Then they just become useless and rude.
I kept my apartment in IMMACULATE condition and they still found reasons to take my entire deposit. Don't bother trying to right everything down in the initial walk-through, just expect that you will never see your deposit back. They accused me of stealing an oven rack and took my deposit for it. There was only one in there to start with. Why the f* would I steal an oven rack' I also lost my parking permit. $50. Ridiculous for a little piece of plastic.
Obviously, the staff has access to the apartment, but they were in there almost every day for one reason or another. On several occasions I returned home to find damage to furniture, mud tracked on the floor (which I'm responsible for), and things moved around a bit. Again, the office ladies were useless when I mentioned it.
I have to make special mention of the son of one of the maintenance people. This kid was the worst troublemaker. He started a fire in one of the dumpsters on one occasion. The problem is that the maintenance person would hand him the master key and have him go to apartments to do various tasks. I wonder where the furniture damage really came from''
The construction quality isn't great. The single-pane windows are worthless and allow plenty of heat exchange. The large master bath is nice, but water pressure was lacking. Parking accommodations are fine, but the entrance gate is always broken, so don't go thinking it provides and kind of security.
I was also promised money (or credit) for referring people to the apartment, for taking their surveys and for renewing my lease. Never saw a cent. When it comes to money, these people are just dirty. The complex is owned by someone out of state. I asked for their contact information on several occasions so that I could try to get some of these issues addressed, but the staff refused to provide it.
I can say without hesitation that the other people living in the area were always nice and quiet. The accommodations were nice, but having to deal with the staff made it miserable at times. Luxury apartments are hard to come by in Wichita, but if you can, AVOID THIS PLACE.
