I moved into Newport end of April 05'. I had a few friends that had lived here 2 years ago in which attracted me to this property when I relocated to Wichita. These are very nice Apartments with a few ammenities. Monthly rent is reasonable however if you decide a 2 bedroom would be more sufficient, the price isn't! A few concerns would be #1, parking! Ugh, it is horrible. I return from work in the evening hours, and I am almost always parking about 5 minutes away from my building. There is definately not enough ample parking for conveniance. Also, security is an issue as well. The entry gates are almost never working. I paid $25.00 deposit on a transmitter in which I seemed comperable rather than typing in a code. I think I have used the transmitter all but 2 or 3 times. Other than that, the gates are broke! Another is, insulation between apartments. I have had nothing but problems with my upstairs neighbors. I hear them walking and BANGING everyday and thru all hours of the night. <<
