If you consider living there in the winter months though, do get rental insurance. We lived in a 2-bedroom, and our masterbedroom was on the breezeway, and during a particurally cold night, the pipe burst in the wall, flooding our bedroom. We were fortunatally home, and were able to move our stuff away from the leak. At the lake, the geese kinda run things, and they do-do on the sidewalk, it is really not the dogs like the other review states. Although there doggy disposal bags are rarely refilled at the doggy do-do stations, and it makes it difficult for a dog owner to pick it up unless they bring their own bags from home. Other than that, the apartment was no so bad.
