Good place for the price

When I first was looking for a place to live most were either outrageously priced or unreasonably dirty, I have lived in the Newport for a year now and it's not bad for the price, a 1-bed for me is $495.00 a month (Ask about a student discount). With that I have a good sized deck, a fireplace, and a nice sized closet. Since I moved in I have had very little problems other then minor maintenance things, the maintenance team here are really good if you understand the amount of units they are required to service, just be polite and most of the time they repair stuff that same day, just remember to turn in those maintenance tickets as early as possible and, Yes they are available on Sunday for services. The only maintenance issue is the amount of random checks like changing of filters, checking the smoke alarm, why is this an issue' Because sometimes they give you very little notice, like they place a note on your door Thursday at 6:00 P.M. and they will arrive Friday at 9:00 A.M., This can be annoying especially if you have had a late night and are trying to sleep. The gym is open 24 hours a day the pool closes at 10:00 P.M. That to me seems unreasonable, if I can pay rent, I should be allowed a nice swim at night, because in the daytime there are just too many kids to just relax. Parking on Fri-Sun after 5:00 p.m. is pretty brutal, but normally it's not that bad considering the amount of units. My only major problem is the lack of COX services for internet use, as far as cable I have Netflix and Utorrent, so it doesn't really bother me. Noise hasn't been an issue I have only meet my neighbor maybe three times, everybody pretty much keeps to themselves. Pet waste is the only other issue that some people have. The Newport is considering increasing the rent of pet owners to pay for waste removal service, I think that is a great idea, I only wish I would have known that when I first moved in. I would have gladly pay a little extra a month instead of having to follow Fido around with a little plastic bag. When my lease expires I fully plan on signing up for another year.
